Copan Mayan Ruins    Stela B Photo (upper 70% of the back side)

The back of Stela B represents the Macaw Mountain Monster. The upper part

shows, from top down, forehead (with chamber), oblong eyes, and nose.

An Ancestral Being is seated in the recessed forehead chamber.
